Regular Checking
You will receive maintenance free checking by maintaining $800 in a related savings or time deposit account or maintaining a $400 minimum daily balance.
Your first order of checks is provided at no cost.* Your checks may be returned with your monthly statement. You may access your account via our free Telephone Banking or free Internet Banking.
Regular account holders can also access their accounts at ATM's and use their Black Earth State Bank Check Cards.*** wherever VISAŽ is accepted. Free bill pay is also available.***
NOW checking
This account will pay interest for bank customers that maintain a $1,000 minimum balance and also offers a full range of services, including unlimited check writing, access to your account with an ATM card or Black Earth State Bank Check Card*** plus the first order of checks printed at no charge.* You will also have access to Telephone Banking and Internet Banking at no charge.

CLUB Checking
There is no minimum balance required and a variety of benefits is offered with this account. Some benefits are: accidental death insurance, unlimited checking (no per check charge), free checks on standard design or a discount on your choice, free copies, up to five money orders at no issue charge per month and a discount on safe deposit rental. Flat monthly fees apply depending on program selected.
Money Market
This interest bearing account provides flexibility to meet cash flow requirements. There is no monthly fee when the account is opened with a minimum deposit of $2,500. Interest rates increase on balances over $10,000 and $25,000. Six transfers and three checks per statement cycle are permitted.
Regular Savings Accounts
This traditional savings account makes saving easy by offering access to your account in person or with an ATM card. Your money will grow with interest paid at market rates.
Golden Passbook Time Deposit Open Accounts
You must deposit a minimum balance of $100 to open this account. Deposits are permitted any time. Interest will be credited every quarter. Funds may be withdrawn without a penalty first ten days of the month after interest has been added (April, July, October, January).
Certificates of Deposit
A full range of Certificates are available to provide the CD holder with financial flexibility. CD's are designed to give investors a guaranteed interest rate on their investment. Minimum deposit for CD 1 year and under is $500. Minimum deposit for CD over 1 year is $100. Interest is paid at maturity on terms through 182 days and quarterly on terms 1 year and over. Certificates of deposit are automatically renewable for the same term. There is a penalty for early withdrawal.
